Does God Care?
Is there a God? Does he care? Most people admit they do believe there is some type of being that is greater than all of us. But many wonder if this being really has any true interest in us as individuals. We have lots of questions like "if God is real, what does He think about me?" "do I matter to Him?" and "what does He want from me?".
There is also a lot of confusion about who Jesus is, what He said and why He did what He did. Making things even more unclear is this: A lot of people have become very religious but not very real. But God is not interested in religion ( a set of dos and donts designed to somehow make you holy via changed behavior). No, God is only interested in relationships (a connection of His heart and yours). The true message of Jesus is this: I love you more than you could ever understand. I would do anything to be connected to you and Ive proven it.
There are many questions and whys we could cover and I would be happy to address if you like (use the "contact us" form to reach us) but the foundation is this: We have all made mistakes because we are born imperfect with a propensity to make mistakes (sin). God is holy and sinless so He can not be connected in relationship to anything with a sinful core. Being separated from you was unacceptable to God so He came to solve this problem and make us all eligible to be connected with Him. Jesus in an unprecedented and unmatched display of love came and was beaten and killed to receive the punishment for sins He did not commitmistakes He did not makeour mistakes, our wrongs. Then to conquer their effect, God raised Him from the dead and as I said before, made us all eligible to connect with Him.
However, the reconnection is not automatic, because that would be a forced relationship. Forced love is worth nothing. So how do we connect with God? We connect with God through something called faith. Faith is a simply a belief that is strong enough to produce action and trust. So there we have it- the truth about Jesus.
